Candy Cane Cupcakes

Candy Cane Cupcakes
1. Crush candy canes (break off straight end about 2” and keep separate)
2. Make cupcake batter according to white cake box directions
3. Fill cupcake liner to about 2/3 full
4. Put peppermint patty or chocolate kiss in center
5. Fill cupcake liner to cover candy and bake according to box directions
6. Just before serving, ice cupcakes with strawberry icing and stick 2” candy cane piece in center
7. Sprinkle with crushed candy canes
