This is one day book lovers will not want to miss. Independent Bookstore Day is a celebration of books, readers, and authors. It takes place on Saturday, April 29th at more than 450 individual bookstores all over the country.
Ohio readers check out New & Olde Pages Book Shoppe in Englewood, Ohio. Stop by from 10:00 A. M. – 7:00 P. M. to check out the sales and fun events. The bookstore will have multiple authors all day, door prizes every hour, and trivia games about books for all ages. Refreshments and snacks all day long, too! Special sales ONLY on this one day. The store will have a giant paper wall to let their customers write why they love their neighborhood bookstore.

Colleen Green, a local author from Miamisburg, Ohio will be there to sign her romance/suspense book, Last Words. If you are an aspiring writer, ask her about The Wright Writers of Dayton. This group of local writers meets once a month to help each other perfect their craft. They welcome new members. Colleen will be there from noon till 2 pm. She will have sample recipe packets from her WordPress website.
